The KOBAU Armierungsecke is a development by KOBAU GmbH. The KOBAU Armierungsecke is best suitable for use in dry construction, mainly in the field of ready-built houses for preventive reinforcement of cracks in the areas from wall to wall and from wall to ceiling. The KOBAU Armierungsecke is also used with great success in the field of precast concrete units and in the rehabilitation of existing buildings. The KOBAU Armierungsecke considerably facilitates the work.

Usable inside and outside.

Prepare the area to be reinforced in accordance with the national regulations, DIN 18363 and/or BSF-notices. Remove loose components from individual cracks/joints, thoroughly prime in particular crack and joint flanks.
Insert a filling profile (round cord) into cracks of more than 3 mm in width in order to avoid any two-flank adherence. Subsequently, fill the cracks/joints so with filled, elastic dispersion mastic that they are level with the surface. Then apply the filled, elastic KOBAU Armierungsspachtel. To accomplish this, we recommend using a toothed trowel 4x4x4 for application in order to ensure an even layer thickness. Thereafter, insert the KOBAU Armierungsecke and press against the surface using a smoothening trowel. Subsequently, apply immediately reinforcing mastic and level by means of the smoothening trowel so that the Armierungsecke floats in the reinforcing mastic.
After drying, the Armierungsecke should be levelled once again with the reinforcing mastic (depending on the substrate) in order to avoid shadow flickering in the marginal area.
Depending on the type of make-up (techniques, coatings, etc.), we recommend uncoupling the area using Armiera® Anstrichvlies or microlith® Malervlies.

Store in dry, cool and closed spaces

Perform subsequent work in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions in each case.
